Kate McKenna

Legal Counsel

Kate is a member of the Irish branch of the Society for Computers and Law and enjoys organising Irish based events for the society when she can.

She also lectures on the Irish Law Society’s Diploma in Technology and IP Law course and sits on the Law Society’s Technology Committee.

Kate joins Frontline as its first in-house legal counsel.

She is a qualified Irish lawyer, trademark agent and all-round intellectual property nerd. She trained and qualified in one of Dublin’s top five law firms – where she picked up her grá for technology law – and has spent the last eight years as an in-house lawyer for a multinational gaming company.

In the spare time that two small children allow she loves to get together with her beloved string quartet and bash away on her cello for a few hours in between cups of tea, biscuits and chats!

She holds a LLM from TCD and so the Frontline office in Lombard Street is a return to her old stomping ground – or at least it will be when lockdown is over.
