David has spent his career to date in and around startups in Dublin, Ireland and Dublin, California. He was an early employee and a leader in the product group at IONA Technologies, one of Ireland’s earliest Nasdaq IPOs. He subsequently co-founded and led the product group at Cape Clear, a pioneer in internet middleware.
After Cape Clear’s acquisition by Workday in 2008, he held multiple roles there during a 12-year tenure, including Senior VP of Engineering and CTO. As a Venture Partner at Frontline, David works with the Frontline team and portfolio with a particular focus on technology strategy and product team scaling.
